Day 1: In Leh Environmental Fees and Permit fees
You must be wondering, what is the permit and permission procedure for visiting Pangong Tso? What documents should I carry with me? We have the answers to your questions. There are certain areas in Ladakh which are considered inner line (areas close to the border with either China or Pakistan), and Pangong Tso Lake is one them. Therefore, Indians will need to obtain an inner line permit for visiting this place. Foreign nationals visiting this place are required to obtain a protected area permit if they want to travel from Leh to Pangong Lake.

Day 2: In Leh Shaam Valley
On the second day, we have a one day tour planned for you to Shaam valley. There is so much to experience in Shaam valley and the best part is you can experience it all in a single day. Every moment you spend there is magical. Shaam valley is home to magnetic valley (one of its kind in the world), the confluence of Indus and Zaskar River at Nimmu, the peaceful Gurudwara Pather Sahib and the Basgo Palace – home to Namgyal rulers. This one day trip has so much packed in it that you’ll overwhelmed upon visiting these places. Overnight stay is in hotel in Leh.

Day 3: Towards Nubra Valley Visit Khardung La Top
Today you would be visiting Khardung La Top. Situated at an altitude of 18,379 ft.
above the sea level, Khardung La makes one feel on the top of the world. It was once
believed to be the highest motorable pass in the world, but facts prove it is among the
highest motorable passes in India. This mountain pass in the Ladakh region of Jammu
and Kashmir was prepared for motors in 1976 and opened in 1988 for the public.
Khardung Pass (as ‘La’ implies ‘pass’ in Tibetan Language) is the gateway to the
remote Nubra and Shyok valleys. The mountain pass holds a special significance as it
is the way to carry supplies to the Siachen Glacier. It offers astonishing views of the
twisting roads up the mountain and the awesome valley.

Day 4: Towards Leh Back To Leh
Following the Samstanling Monastery tour in the morning, you will drive back to Leh via
Khardung La Pass. In the evening, explore the local bazaars (markets) of Leh. You can
purchase shopping items such as Pashmina shawls, Chinese cutleries, good pearls and
Ladakhi woolen handicrafts. You will return to Leh in the evening where arrangements
for dinner and overnight stay have been done for you at hotel in Leh.

Day 5: In Leh Pangong Calling
There was something missing in all the places we had visited so far. Yes you guessed it
right. A Lake! Visit to Leh is incomplete without a visit to the heavenly Lakes. With the
dawn of fifth day, we’ll go on a full day excursion to Pangong. The place is famous for
Pangong Lake, which featured in the blockbuster Bollywood movie ‘3 idiots’. The place
is not like you saw it in the movie. The Lake is umpteen times better, the place surely
redefines tranquility. The blue water of the Lake is very soothing. Owing to the location
of the Lake along the Indo-China border in the high mountains, the Lake becomes the
temporary home to the migratory birds. We’ll also visit Hemis monastery on our way
back to Leh. Overnight stay and dinner is in hotel in Leh.

Day 6: In Leh Departure From Leh
All the time you’ve spent in Leh in the past 5 days, will last with you forever as those
truckloads of memories won’t wither away so soon. Collect all your memories and carry
them to your homes as on the 6th day, we’ll take you to the Leh airport. From here you
can easily board a flight to New Delhi. We’ll try and leave according to the flight timings.
Hope you enjoyed your time with us.
