Haridwar is a highly revered city in the state of Uttarakhand. The holy town is a major attraction for the pilgrims around the world. The city has a very rich popularity among the pilgrimage destinations. The Haridwar city is also known as the "Gateway to the Lord". The word Haridwar is combined of two words 'Hari' stands for Lord and 'dwar' stands for gate. That is why this sacred site is famous as "Gateway to the Lord". This worthy place is located on the bank of sacred river Ganga. There are many shrines, temples and ashrams to offer the prayer and for pilgrimage. This is a hustling site with crowded markets. 
Haridwar is the Gateway of Chardham yatra too. People from all over the world visit the devoted site every year to perform the Chardham yatra. The Chardham yatra adds Yamunotri,Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath the sacred destinations of devotion. According to the Hindu mythology it is said that the religious professionals named this holy site Haridwar. The city also very popular for the well known fair Kumbh Mela that happening once after every 12 years and Ardha Kumbh Mela after six years. Countless people take a part in this Mela. Different types of stalls and shops having religious aspects are the major attractions for the pilgrims. At a distance of 10 kilometer there is a 'Rajaji National Park" great for wild life lovers.

Mussoorie is among those places where footprints of the British Past left on Indian Territory could still be seen. However, this is not the only noticeable facet of this place. Visiting temples with their myths and legends and rituals to worship accentuates the feel. That gets even better with all the picnic points in the lap of Nature. Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi & Drive to Haridwar ( Rishikesh ) (8hrs.)
On arrival pick up from Delhi and transfer to Haridwar. Haridwar : Meaning ‘Gateway to God’ is one of the seven holiest places of the Hindus, located on the banks of River Ganges. It is the place where river Ganga descends to the plains. Haridwar is also spelled as Hardwar or Hari- Dwar. Haridwar is also one of the four places where drops of Amrit or nectar fell from the pitcher which was being carried by Garuda, the heavenly bird and the spot is known as Brahma Kund or Har-ki-Pauri. Enroute visit Rishikesh: was named after the God Hrishikesh whose appearance is an answer to the lord penances by Rabhiya Rishi. The Holy Chardham yatra has its starting point from Rishikesh. Rishikesh is a famous Hindu religious destinations, popular amongst devotees, yoga persons and adventurers as well. Located on the banks of the sacred Ganga River, Rishikesh attracts thousands of pilgrims every day from India as well as abroad. covering Lakshman Jhula ,Gita Bhavan, etc. Arrive Haridwar transfer to hotel, check in to hotel. Later witness Aarti of the Holy River Ganges. overnight stay at hotel in Haridwar. Sun Hotel or similar.

Day 02 : Haridwar Local Sight Seeing
After breakfast we checkout from hotel and proceed for local sight seeing. We visit Popular temples in Haridwar including Pareshwar Mahadev Temple , Daksha Mahadev Temple and Mansa Devi Temple . Later, visit Har-ki-Pauri (the footstep of God) - one of the most sacred ghats both in Haridwar and in India . Hindus believe that this ghat was built by Vikramaditya in the memory of his brother Bhartrihari. This ghat is also known as Brahmakund. Later witness Ganga Aarti Ceremony of the Holy River Ganges. Aarti is the beautiful ceremony in which deeyas (the oil lamps) are offered to God. Aarti can be done to a deity in the temple or it can be done to a saint also as per tradition. It is performed to God, in any manifestation, or in any form, by any name. The essence of the Ganga Aarti ceremony is a time when we say "thank you," and we offer the light of our thanks, the light of our love and the light of our devotion to the god to seek their blessings. Overnight at hotel in Haridwar. Sun Hotel or similar.

Day 03 : Haridwar - Rishikesh Excursion
Morning you can take holy dip in the river ganga. Later return to hotel. After breakfast visit Mansa Devi Temple (By cable car). Transfer to Rishikesh. Visit Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, Lakshman Temple, Lakshman Jhula & Ram Jhula. Evening visit Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Return to Haridwar. Dinner and Over night stay at Haridwar. Sun Hotel or similar.

Day 04 : Haridwar to Mussoorie (3hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel then drive to Mussoorie. Mussoorie:Mussoorie is a wonderful hill station in Uttaranchal.It is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas and is known as the Queen of the Hills. Mussoorie derives its name from the plants of Mussoorie or shrubmansoor which are available in large quantities in this region. The lush green hills, the varied flora and fauna and the majestic view of the Shivalik ranges and the Doon Valley attracts hundreds of tourists both domestic and international to Mussoorie each year. Mussoorie is famous not only for its scenic beauty but it has also developed into an important center of education and business. Mussoorie is also famous for the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration where officers are trained for the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service. Arrive at Mussoorie transfer to hotel check in to hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. overnight stay at hotel at Mussoorie. Nand Residency or similar.

Day 05 : Mussoorie - Dhanaulti - Mussoorie 
Morning after breakfast, take a drive to Dhanaulti and then enjoy great sightseeing covering Jain Temples, ECO-Park, Barehipani and Joranda Falls, Dashavatar Temple. Evening return back to Mussoorie. Overnight at Mussoorie. Nand Residency or similar.

Day 06 : Mussoorie to Delhi Drop (7hrs.)
After breakfast we checkout from hotel and proceed for Delhi by road. On arrival you will be transferred to the airport/railway station to board the flight/Train back to home.
